As Sri Lanka goes through its worst economic crisis, we are partnering up with Colombo Urban Lab and Community Meal Share for a year-long fundraiser to support for Sri Lankans in dire need of basic necessities. Many households have run out of gas or can’t afford the increased prices of cooking fuels and are struggling with the cost of living. With high inflation, all donations from overseas can go a long way in Sri Lanka.
We are aiming to raise USD 12,000 to provide warm meals for families in the North of Colombo for one year.
- For: 20 families + one school. We are committed to supporting the same 20 families and school throughout the year.
- What: Two cooked meals a week for one year.
- Funds Raised: All funds raised will go directly to the named organisation, excluding a payment gateway fee of 3%. Due to currency exchange rate fluctuations, the $ amount for meals may vary slightly.
