How does delivery work? (Sri Lanka + Worldwide)

Delivery in Sri Lanka

Purchases are shipped anywhere in Sri Lanka. 

Island-wide delivery in Sri Lanka costs a flat rate of Rs.300

When you pay by card (via PayHere), orders are delivered within 4 business days.

Cash on Delivery orders can take 4-6 business days.

Delivery duration may vary depending on items purchased (due to production time etc).

You will be informed if there is a delay.

Worldwide Delivery

We are trialing worldwide delivery via DHL as of January 2021! Rates are provided at checkout based on your order and location.

What are my payment options?

You can pay by credit/debit card online (see Checkout page for more info) or via cash on delivery.

Can I return or exchange a purchase?

Our return policy lasts 7 days from the date you received the items. If 7 days have gone by since you received your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Body and wellness products (balms, soaps etc) cannot be returned.

We can replace items if they are defective or damaged.

How do I return or exchange a purchase?

To initiate the return of a purchase, email us at hello@localforecast.lk and please include:

  1. Reason for return / exchange
  2. Proof of purchase
  3. Photo evidence (where applicable)

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. We will validate the return request and organize pick up of items.

The cost of return delivery will be deducted from your refund unless goods are defective or damaged. 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 working days.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanging of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

My refund is missing, what’s going on?

If you haven’t received an approved refund yet, contact your bank or credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted to your account.
